Quotes by Carl Jung

I enjoyed a book I read years ago about Carl Jung. I don’t remember the name of the book now, but it sparked my interest in this man who obtained so much truthful information whenever he looked inside himself. We all have access to the truth inside us, if we only we would take the time to connect to it.

What Carl Jung had to say about life

Your vision will become clear only when you look inside your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.

All the works of man have their origin in creative fantasy. What right have we then to depreciate imagination.

As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.

Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness’s of other people.

Through pride we are ever deceiving ourselves. But deep down below the surface of the average conscience a still, small voice says to us, something is out of tune-Carl Jung

  1. His words have a positive motivation, but he was not as wise as he would like. There is a duality there of outside and inside, light and dark. We are living the pure life already – follow that bliss.

    Enjoy the beautiful day.
