As Don Henley so aptly sings in his song, The heart of the matter is “Forgiveness, even if you don’t love me anymore.”
If we look deep enough into ourselves, beyond the frustrations, anger, rejections and pain, we will find love is still there, only it’s relationship with the other has changed.

Love the Eagles. Love Don Henley. Great song, great post.

Thank you Bud & yes, I like many of the songs by the Eagles too. I felt The Heart of the Matter spoke well of our ability and need to forgive. We may not forget, but we can forgive for our own well being, if not for the other person involved, as well.
Blessings of Love & Light Bud
