This is an excellent video demonstrating how sound can affect and form shapes that can be seen by the naked eye. You might find it necessary to adjust your volume, as some of the sound frequencies in the video are quite high. I had to lower my volume periodically as the sound frequencies range changed.

Sound is just like light, a vibration, an oscillation.
We can’t see sound because the frequency is to low, so we have ears to perceive it instead.
The gizmo in the video just makes the sound visible.
