A Constitutional Amendment to Repeal Citizens United, restore “We the People”
The Supreme Court ruled that Corporations are people. Really? Do corporations breath, eat, breed and bleed? I didn’t think so. Since that ruling, all America has seen our politicians sell themselves and our country to the highest bidder with disastrous results.
It wasn’t just one, or even two, things that lead America to economic destruction. Wall Street played a big role, but so did corporations, as well as a few other sectors. By flooding money into our elections, and paying for lobbyists that influenced government policies, corporations and the wealthy gained huge benefits. The rich got richer with little or no regard to how it would affect the rest of America. Because of this, the rest of us watched our wages and benefits drop, and even worse, jobs disappear.
US Preventative Jim McGovern has proposed a constitutional amendment that would make it clear, once and for all, that corporations are not people. One has to really wonder if the Supreme Court judges really believed the American people would never catch on? This ruling is an example of how corrupt the whole system is. It’s time for us to set it right. Watch Representative McGovern’s discuss his proposed amendment.

Why Occupy Wall Street Needs Michael Bloomberg
Keith Olbermann: Why Occupy Wall Street needs Michael Bloomberg
Times are tough and have been for a long time here in the United States, with no signs of getting better any time soon. People are fed up with austerity. Thus enters the Occupy Wall Street protests.
Your view of the Occupy Wall Street movement will depend on where you are getting your information from. Major news medias? In most cases, you won’t get even a closely accurate coverage of the motivation behind OWS. So where can we turn to get the more accurate news and information regarding OWS, what their complaints are and how they are being received by the authorities?
Oddly enough, most of the unbiased news comes from news agencies outside of the US. Such as RT found at rt.com/usa/news and Al-Jazeera found at http://www.aljazeera.com/news/americas/. One we have here inside the US is Keith Olbermann.
In the video below, Keith gives a special commentary on why Occupy Wall Street Needs New York City’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg
